An evaluation of 100 percent is granted whenever there is marked liver damage manifested by liver function tests and marked gastrointestinal symptoms, or three or more episodes a year of several weeks duration accompanied by disabling symptoms requiring rest therapy. 100
An evaluation of 60 percent is granted whenever there is indication of moderate liver damage and disabling recurrent episodes of gastrointestinal disturbance, fatigue, and mental depression. A higher evaluation of 100 percent is not warranted unless the record shows marked liver damage manifested by liver function tests and marked gastrointestinal symptoms, or three or more episodes a year of several weeks duration accompanied by disabling symptoms requiring rest therapy. 60
An evaluation of 30 percent is granted for minimal liver damage with associated fatigue, anxiety, and gastrointestinal disturbance of lesser degree and frequency but necessitating dietary restriction or other therapeutic measures. A higher evaluation of 60 percent is not warranted unless there is evidence of moderate liver damage and disabling recurrent episodes of gastrointestinal disturbance, fatigue, and mental depression. 30
An evaluation of 10 percent is assigned for demonstrable liver damage with mild gastrointestinal disturbance. A higher evaluation of 30 percent is not warranted unless the record shows minimal liver damage with associated fatigue, anxiety, and gastrointestinal disturbance of lesser degree and frequency but necessitating dietary restriction or other therapeutic measures. 10
